What's Next

Location: Flat in Dartford, with 2 bedrooms and is modern. We chose this flat as it sets the mood for the lonely doctor. Its sets the tone for a bachelor pad, and is ideal for a doctor living on his own.
Costume and props: The doctor's main costume is a suit, however he will also be wearing a white doctor's jacket, as this is associated with a doctor. He will also be wearing a name badge that we will be editing in final cut pro, to show the persons name and their position. Another prop will be a sleeping pill bottle which we will also be editing in final cut pro. We will also have a license plate that will have the name of the film (TR4C3S).
Characters: In our title sequence there is two characters, the doctor and the ghost (female).
I will be playing the doctor and Kirstie Houghton will be playing the ghost.
Music: We will hopefully have our music recorded by Ian Elmsley on the piano, It will be a bed time story as this relates to the situation of the film.

The starting point

Today we were giving the task of creating a title sequence to a film that we must make over the coming months. Me and my group, which consists of Nick Storey, Lauren Scotcher and Kirstie Houghton, have decided on making a horror about a man who is an insomniac. Mrs Moore has asked us to research the film, The Machinist.
